完形填空題的總體難度是較高的，但10個空中，容易失分的也僅有二、三個題。大多數(shù)是中檔題和低檔題。因此，在解題中要注意解題速度，不可為一道難題苦思冥想，耗時太多。應(yīng)該繞道而行，先做下面容易的題目，將有把握的空填上。填上所有的容易題，也縮小了思考范圍，同時又提供了更多的信息。當(dāng)10題已經(jīng)做了7題時，剩下3題就可以從容應(yīng)答。此時，借助自己已補全的那些空缺，再細(xì)讀全文，此時對全文意思的理解程度會更清楚。一篇文章是一個整體，有它獨立的內(nèi)容，結(jié)構(gòu)與邏輯聯(lián)系，不能單從局部的詞義和語法來理解，應(yīng)從全文內(nèi)容出發(fā)不斷深入理解，這樣就為在解決那些少數(shù)疑難問題排除了在邏輯意義上易選錯的選項。先看看哪些詞語意義與文章不符，然后綜合運用詞匯、句型、語法等知識反復(fù)地字斟句酌，排除明顯錯誤，縮小選擇范圍，得出符合邏輯的正確答案。有的難題一時難下定論的，這時必須讀下去，在下文中找到相關(guān)依據(jù)后再返回定論。有時上文已選定某一項，但下文解題中，發(fā)現(xiàn)上文那個不妥，不符合聯(lián)貫邏輯，也必須返回定論。不善于返回定論，就難以做好完形填空題。

四、復(fù)查核對，決定取舍

A: what do we need to get from the supermarket?

B: we need lots of things. I’ll make a list. We need a bag of sugar, a loaf of bread and a crate of beer.

B: just joking. I would like to get a few bottles of beer though. We also need a liter of cooking oil.

A: we can buy a three-liter bottle. It works out cheaper per liter. We should buy a packet of butter and a few pints of milk too.
