Relate to 也可以用來表達(dá)“溝通上有共識”。若是“代溝”（generation gap），或是觀念不同而溝通上的，你就可以用上下面的這句話。

A：I have trouble relating to Carol. 我跟卡羅溝通很難。

B：Maybe it’s because she’s 30 years older than you.

或許這是她比你年長三十歲。
