老美常常會說 be bogged down on something, 原指的陷在不可自拔 (bog 原意指泥淖、沼澤, 當動詞用指陷入泥淖中) 但我喜歡把片語翻成被某件事搞得焦頭爛額. 例如每次期中考試要來的時候, 班上就會聽到有人說, \"I\'m really bogged down with school.\" (我被學校的事情搞得焦頭爛額了). 在 \"Bring it on\" 這部電影當中, 女主角啦啦隊的事情被搞得是焦頭爛額, 她這么說的喔, \"I\'m so bogged down on this.\"
